Your next step is ready.
Follow the complete written guide below.
The video will join it here when it’s ready.
Before you start
- WordPress administrator access.
- WordPress 6.9+, PHP 8.1+; Elementor 3.20+ only for Elementor lessons.
- A current site backup; preferably a practice site.
Let’s do this, step by step.
Step 01
Check your site
Open Tools → Site Health → Info and check WordPress and PHP. Check your chosen builder in Plugins.
First, check the versions on your site. Ask your host to help with PHP if needed. EMCP includes its WordPress connection adapter, so there is no second adapter plugin to install.
Step 02
Download Free
Open the EMCP GitHub Releases page. Download the emcp-tools release ZIP, not the source-code archive.
For Free, download the ready-to-install ZIP from the release assets. EMCP is not installed by searching the WordPress plugin directory. Keep this ZIP compressed.
Step 03
Upload and activate
In WordPress, choose Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Select the ZIP, click Install Now, then Activate.
Upload the ZIP, let WordPress finish, and activate the plugin. You should now see EMCP Tools in the sidebar. If WordPress shows a requirement notice, resolve it before continuing.
Step 04
Download Pro, if purchased
Sign in to emcptools.com → My Products with your purchase email. Find your license and select Download latest.
If you have Pro, use its download from My Products. If you bought with another email, use the account's license-linking option. Keep your license key private.
Step 05
Activate Pro
Upload the Pro ZIP using the same WordPress upload steps. Complete its Activate License flow with your key.
Activate Pro and enter your license when prompted. Current versions automatically deactivate the Free copy when Pro takes over. Update old installations before upgrading; EMCP Pro and Elementor Pro are different licenses.
Step 06
Verify the new dashboard
Open EMCP Tools → Overview → Dashboard. Check the server status, Tools enabled/available count, installed version and Needs your attention. Use Connect a client for setup.
The dashboard now has its own grouped sidebar. Check the server status and tools count. A count here does not prove your AI app is connected. Next, choose Connect a client.
You’re done when…
EMCP opens without a requirement notice; active tools appear; a Pro installation shows its activated license.
