Flamingo MCP integration
Sort the inbox of form messages without opening each one.
EMCP Pro reads the messages Contact Form 7 and other forms save to Flamingo, with their contacts and channels. Lists show subject, channel and date; a single message shows its fields only when asked, with password, token and card fields removed. Moderation runs through Flamingo's own methods and can be undone.

A practical place to start
From a pile of messages to a clean inbox.
- 01
List the messages
list-messages returns messages by status with subject, channel, date and version. Nothing personal is included at this step.
- 02
Read the ones that matter
get-message with include_details returns the submitted fields, minus anything named like a password, secret, token, API key or card number.
- 03
Moderate
spam, unspam, trash and restore change the status with the version you read. History can put each one back.
Built for Flamingo
Messages, minus the secrets
Flamingo keeps every submission a form sends it. EMCP checks Flamingo’s own permission for each message and contact, lists them with subject, channel and date, and returns the submitted fields only for a single message when you ask. Fields named like passwords, tokens, API keys or card numbers are removed at every level, and internal request and spam-check data is left out.
Moderation through Flamingo
Spam, not spam, trash and restore call Flamingo’s own methods, so its hooks and records behave as they do in its screens. A restored message goes back to the status it had before it was trashed. Every change needs the version you read; a message changed since is a conflict.
Undo that puts the status back
History undoes each change by setting the earlier status again. If a hook in another plugin fails halfway, EMCP puts the status back where it can and records what happened.
Use the Flamingo tool reference for operation names and arguments, and the Contact Form 7 integration for the forms themselves.
Get connected
Put Flamingo in your AI’s toolkit.
- 1
Install Flamingo
Install EMCP Pro 3.21.1 with Flamingo 2.6.4. Contact Form 7 is optional; status reports whether it is active. Other Flamingo versions are refused.
- 2
Enable the write tool
flamingo-read is on; flamingo-write starts disabled. Enable it under EMCP Tools > Tools > Plugins > Flamingo and reconnect your AI client.
- 3
Ask for a review
Ask your AI to list recent messages and suggest which look like spam before it changes anything.
Then connect Claude Code, Claude Desktop, or Cursor to use the Flamingo tools enabled on your site. Compare Free and Pro access.
A few useful details
Before you connect.
Questions about Flamingo, supported operations, and the workflow on your site.
Why was a message refused?
Messages carrying Akismet data are moderated in Flamingo, because Flamingo reports them to Akismet. Messages in an unsupported status are refused too.
Can it delete messages?
No. Trash moves a message to the trash, and when trash is turned off on the site, trashing is refused because it would delete permanently.
Which fields are hidden?
Fields whose names look like passwords, secrets, tokens, API keys or card details, at every nesting level. A secret typed into a free-text field cannot be detected.
Does undo keep Flamingo's own record?
Yes. Undo sets the previous status back through Flamingo and keeps Flamingo's trash and status records.
