No. The free plugin is GPL-2.0-or-later and works forever, with up to 162 MCP tools and the entire Elementor + WordPress automation engine. Pro adds AI-assisted building, premium content, and support, it does not gate the core tools.
The AI-assisted building layer: the AI Chat editor inside Elementor and Gutenberg, the AI Widget Builder, and the SEO & Accessibility toolkit. If you want the AI to build and refine pages conversationally rather than only through raw MCP tool calls, that lives in Pro.
No. EMCP works with free Elementor (and even without Elementor for the WordPress and Gutenberg tools). If you do have Elementor Pro or WooCommerce installed, their widgets are reachable on any EMCP tier. EMCP Pro is a separate license from Elementor Pro.
