Ultimate Member MCP integration
Check how membership is set up, and tidy the details.
EMCP Pro reads Ultimate Member's registration, login and profile forms with their fields, its member directories, one member's account status and the restriction stored on a post. It changes two presentation details: a form's main button label and a directory's page size. Roles, status and access stay in Ultimate Member.
Pro integrationUltimate Member 2.14.1, single site
One form, one directory
| Step | What EMCP does |
|---|---|
| 01 · Forms | Register form, 6 fields, 4 required |
| 02 · Label | Join the club, version checked |
| 03 · Directory | 24 per page, 12 on mobile |
| 04 · History | Both changes undoable |
A practical place to start
From a membership question to a small fix.
- 01
Read the forms
list-forms and get-form return each form's mode, whether it uses custom settings, its main button label and its fields with type and required flag.
- 02
Check access
get-member-status reads one member's account status; get-content-restriction reads the rule stored on a post or page.
- 03
Adjust presentation
set-form-label and set-directory-page-size change one value with the version you read, and History can put it back.
Built for Ultimate Member
A clear view of membership
get-form shows whether a form registers, signs in or edits profiles, its main button label and up to 200 fields with their type, label and whether they are required. Directories show their page size on desktop and mobile. get-member-status returns approved, inactive, rejected, awaiting review or awaiting email confirmation for one member, and nothing else about them.
Two safe changes
The write tool changes a form’s main button label or a directory’s page size, one value per call. Each needs the version you read. If the setting is stored twice, the change and its undo are both refused, even with force, because a single value could not put both back.
Access stays where it is
Roles, account status, restriction rules, templates and emails are outside this integration. get-content-restriction reports the stored rule on one post so you can check it, with a note that global rules may restrict further.
Use the Ultimate Member tool reference for operation names and arguments, and Custom Post Type UI for members-only content types.

A few useful details
Before you connect.
Questions about Ultimate Member, supported operations, and the workflow on your site.
Can it approve or reject members?
No. It reads a member's account status. Approvals, roles and access stay in Ultimate Member.
Why was a label change refused?
The form does not use custom settings yet, or the setting is stored twice. Turn on the form's custom settings, or tidy the duplicate in Ultimate Member, then try again.
Is the content restriction the whole story?
No. It is the rule stored on that post. Global restriction rules and extensions can restrict access further.
Does it send emails?
No. Neither tool sends email or registers anyone.
