Send selected changes to a live site
Choose content sync or a deliberate file/table sync without confusing the scopes.

Your next step is ready.
Follow the complete written guide below.
The video will join it here when it’s ready.
Before you start
- A practice site and permission for the task.
- EMCP Pro, paired sites, and an up-to-date connector.
- Destination backup before overwriting any content.
Let’s do this, step by step.
Step 01
Open Sync and choose the scope
Open Safety → Backup & Migrate → Sync. Pair a destination in Migrate first if none is available. Start with Changes to sync for an individual page or post.
Open Sync and choose the intended destination. For a page update, start with that individual item. A full site sync replaces much more.
Step 02
Inspect the pending item
Open Changes to sync and inspect the source item and target site.
A stable sync ID matches the record across sites. Page IDs alone can differ, so check the target and returned match.
Step 03
Sync one reviewed item
Choose Sync for the intended item and inspect the destination content and attached media.
Content Sync carries the item, fields, terms, and attached media. Check the final publication state and links on the destination.
Step 04
Use Discard deliberately
Discard a pending item only when you intentionally do not want to send that change.
Discard marks the change as not to sync. It is not an undo of the local edit.
Step 05
Review a whole-site scope when needed
Open Advanced: full or selective whole-site sync. Choose Full site or Selective, then All tables, No database or Pick tables, and All files, No files or Pick areas. Check Destination before Start sync and its confirmation.
Select exactly which database tables and file areas should be replaced. Use No database when it must stay untouched. Check the destination and the scope again before starting.
You’re done when…
Only the reviewed scope reached the intended destination and its content is verified.
