Your next step is ready.

Follow the complete written guide below.
The video will join it here when it’s ready.

Start the written lesson

Before you start

  • A verified connection to a practice site.
  • EMCP Pro and active WooCommerce.
  • Store-management permission; test products without real customer data.

Let’s do this, step by step.

Step 01

Check the integration tools

Open Setup → Tools → Plugins → E-Commerce → WooCommerce. Check read access as well as the write switch. Inspect dependencies and both read/write switches. Enable the actions for this task, choose Save changes, then reconnect.

Before starting, find this integration on the Tools screen. Check the required plugin and action switches. Save the changes and reconnect your app. Check read access as well as the write switch.

Step 02

Read the available operations

Ask the AI to inspect WooCommerce's read catalog and list draft products.

The integration follows WooCommerce's own permissions. Start with products you can safely use for practice.

Step 03

Inspect one product

Read its real ID, SKU, description, price, stock, and publication status.

Keep track of fields you intend to preserve. A description edit should not silently change price, stock, or publication.

Step 04

Preview a content edit

Ask for an improved description based only on supplied product facts.

Show the before and after text before saving. Keep product claims factual and do not invent features.

Step 05

Save and verify

Enable woo-write for the task, update only the chosen description, read it back, and preview the product.

Check the native product editor and storefront preview. Compare the fields that should have stayed unchanged.

Step 06

Explore store reports separately

Use read-only operations to inspect reports, order status, or settings when required.

Order changes may trigger real business actions. Refunds move money, and deletes or batches need confirmation. Keep those out of a basic product-editing demo.

Step 07

Use native brands if available

Discover native WooCommerce Brands, inspect an existing brand, and validate a proposed create/update before applying.

Brand archive text and SEO metadata are separate. Use the SEO plugin's supported term tools for the brand's search title and description.

You’re done when…

Only the reviewed product content changed, and its editor and preview agree.
