Follow the complete written guide below.

Start the written lesson

Before you start

  • A verified connection to a practice site.
  • EMCP Pro, WooCommerce, and woo-write access.
  • A small product source document and a practice store.

Let’s do this, step by step.

Step 01

Check the integration tools

Open Setup → Tools → Plugins → E-Commerce → WooCommerce. Enable only the product import actions you need. Inspect dependencies and both read/write switches. Enable the actions for this task, choose Save changes, then reconnect.

Before starting, find this integration on the Tools screen. Check the required plugin and action switches. Save the changes and reconnect your app. Enable only the product import actions you need.

Step 02

Prepare a small sample

Start with two or three rows containing reliable product IDs or unique SKUs.

A small sample makes mistakes easier to spot. The AI reads the source document locally and prepares structured product data.

Step 03

Match records explicitly

Match existing products by explicit ID first, then exact SKU. Review rows that would create new products.

Do not match products by a similar-looking name. Decide deliberately which rows update records and which create them.

Step 04

Validate without saving

Run plan-product-import and inspect each row's proposed changes and errors.

The plan step writes nothing. Fix missing values or wrong matches before moving on.

Step 05

Apply the reviewed plan

Send the same items with the returned plan hash and explicit confirmation.

If you change the data, validate again. The earlier plan cannot approve a different import.

Step 06

Read back and spot-check

Review per-item results, inspect products in WooCommerce, and compare prices and stock with the source.

The import creates or updates; it does not delete products. Keep batches within the documented limit and check each result before continuing.

You’re done when…

Every sample row maps to the intended product and the stored values match the reviewed source.
