EMCP Cloud
EMCP Cloud connects your WordPress sites to a shared workspace. It provides a hosted MCP Gateway, storage for reusable Sandbox artifacts, settings sync, and Marketplace access. Your WordPress sites continue to run on their existing hosts.
Cloud and the WordPress plugin
Section titled “Cloud and the WordPress plugin”| Product | What it does |
|---|---|
| EMCP Tools plugin | Runs on each WordPress site and supplies its MCP tools, integrations, permissions, and local settings. |
| EMCP Tools Pro licence | Enables Pro plugin features on the installations where it is activated. |
| EMCP Cloud plan | Provides workspace services and a connected-site allowance, including Gateway access on paid plans. |
Cloud and Pro are separate purchases. The free plugin can be used with a paid Cloud Gateway plan. A Cloud upgrade does not activate Pro on WordPress; available tools still depend on each site’s licence, modules, integrations, and permissions.

Start with one site
Section titled “Start with one site”- Install EMCP Tools on WordPress and enable the Cloud module.
- Open EMCP Tools → Connection → Cloud and connect to your Cloud account.
- For Gateway access, use a paid Cloud plan and leave Gateway access enabled when connecting. The site issues its own revocable credential.
- Add
https://gateway.emcptools.com/mcpto a compatible AI client and complete Cloud authorization. - Check
emcp_list_sitesand make a read-only call to the intended site before extending the setup.
One Gateway connection in your AI client can reach the sites you have enrolled. Each WordPress site still needs its initial Cloud connection and authorization. See the Gateway setup guide for the full procedure.
